Champions League: Manchester City vs Real Madrid, Juventus vs Lyon matches postponed

UEFA has deferred the Manchester City versus Real Madrid and Juventus versus Lyon Champions League round-of-16 second-leg games booked for Tuesday on account of fears over the coronavirus.

The Real Madrid crew was taken into isolation on Thursday and all movement at their preparation ground was suspended after one of the club's ball players tried positive for the coronavirus.

The games planned for next Wednesday, Barcelona versus Napoli and Bayern Munich versus Chelsea, are set to proceed.

UEFA's choice follows a pontoon of postponements across worldwide football, including MLS, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and a few universal friendlies.

Prior in the week, Manchester City's Premier League game against Arsenal was delayed. On Thursday, Leicester director Brendan Rodgers announced that three of his players are in self-isolation after demonstrating coronavirus indications.

UEFA will examine the delay of Euro 2020 and potential abrogation of this present season's Champions League and Europa League during a crisis video gathering including every one of the 55 European football relationship next Tuesday, sources have told usjkfootball.
